Jodan (#1 Punch)
The following techniques are blocks and counters for jodan strikes or strikes to the head.
1. Step back, over head block with left, punch right (#1 punch).
2. Step back, window wash block with left, punch right (#1 punch).
3. Step back, cross block with left, punch right (#2 punch).
4. Cross block right hand & kick right foot (same time), jump back "cat" stance, left foot forward.
5. Jump away, jump forward, kick groin with right foot.
6. Crossed hands catch punch, kick to chest (advanced students kick
face), chop neck with your right hand.
7. Right hand past: block, step in and punch with right (#2 punch).
8. Right hand pasai block, straighten up and punch with left (#2 punch).
9. Step 45 to left (front stance), punch with right (#2 punch).
10. Step 45 to right (front stance), kick with left foot.
11. Window wash block w/left, grab, step in elbow smash w/right arm.
12. Cross block with left hand, step in elbow smash with right arm.
13. Cross face with left hand as stepping left (front stance), block down, twist body, right hand on guard, chop to nose.
14. Turn to right, no twist, kick with left foot.
15. Jump away, jump forward, double jump kick.
16. Step left 45, front kick with right foot.
17. Step left 45, side kick with right foot.
18. Jumping round house kick to left (use right foot).
